Canvas plimsolls are my footwear of choice, as they are cheap, comfortable and can be manipulated easily. The plimsoll I favour is standardly white, but white plimolls seem to be in every other shop at the moment, so I like to dye them, or customise them in another way. Here I have painted the winged-scissor emblem onto either side of the plimsolls for a quick and effective alteration. I aim to continue this practice, and document it as I go along. I used Dylon Fabric paint and a paintbrush to customise these shoes.
